CWA supports those affected by the Blue Mountains bushfires
CWA of NSW donated $20,000 to the Blue Mountains City Council Mayoral Relief Fund from our Disaster Relief Fund to assist those affected by the recent Blue Mountains bushfires. Our Disaster Relief Fund was formed in 2005 so we could have the funds to assist those in need. Individuals as well as CWA branches contribute to the Tax-deductible fund.
CWA branch members have also donated their time supporting local Rural Fire Services.
