CWA Awareness Day

CWA Awareness Day was again this year a great sucess. Branches held street stalls, lunches, barbeques, picnics, afternoon teas, craft demonstrations and other events all in the name of raising awareness of the CWA of NSW. To help celebrate the day The Land Cookery Committee made the world's biggest scone (news article here) and annouced it on channel 7's Weekend Sunrise program. Channel 10's 7pm Project also featured CWA on CWA Awareness Day, 14th September 2011.

 



 Port Macquarie Evening Branch celebrated in style wearing fascinators to fit their "CWA is Fascinating" theme

  Cobargo Branch held a lunch and fashion parade with over 40 women attending.
 
Picton District Branch held street stall at a local shopping centre   Marulan Branch held a high tea and gave craft demonstrations including card making
